What is the birthplace of Hatoma Elementary School?

The monument to the birthplace of Hatoma Elementary School, erected on the grounds of the Hatoma Island Community Center.

Hatoma Elementary School itself was built in the Meiji era (1868-1912) and had a long history on the remote island. However, due to the inconvenience of living on a remote island, including transportation, the elementary and junior high schools have been merged.
