What is Nakanokami Island (Nakano-no-mikami Island)?
Nakanokami Island is an uninhabited island in the East China Sea, about 10 km from Iriomote Island, with pristine nature and breeding grounds for sea birds.
Although a permit from the Ministry of the Environment is required to go ashore, the surrounding waters are very popular among advanced divers as a diving spot.
