千手ガジュマルとは

Hatoma Island一周道路を港から歩いて約40分、鳩間島の集落から見てちょうど反対側の島仲浜手前で出会うことのできる大きなガジュマルの大木。

鳩間島一周道路を歩いていると途中、何本かガジュマルの大木を見ることができますが、その中で最も大きなものがこの『千手ガジュマル』です。

力強く根を張るガジュマルは鳩間のシンボルとして島の人にも愛されています♪

反対側には５兄弟ガジュマルもあります。
