What is Omija Road Park?
Omija Road Park is located at the mouth of the Omija River.
It is one of the most precious spots in Iriomote Island where you can see mangroves right from the parking lot!
There is a boardwalk nearby, and the area is lush with mangrove trees.
From the boardwalk, you can also observe mangroves and water creatures. It is nice to be able to observe them at a leisurely pace without being tied down by time!
There is an observation deck at the far left side toward the parking lot, less than a two-minute walk away.
