沖縄県公安委員会（沖縄県警）が定める厳しい安全基準をクリアし、公的に「安心・安全のお墨付き」を受けたマリンレジャー事業者のことです（正式名称：安全対策優良海域レジャー提供業者）。

実は、沖縄県内に多数存在するマリン事業者のうち、「マル優」認定を取得できているのはわずか約3％（100社中3社ほど）です。

「マル優」認定を受けるには、現地の警察による厳格な審査・現場確認を通過する必要があり、以下のような高い安全管理体制が義務付けられています。

有資格者の配置（資格を持つガイドや水難救助員などの専門スタッフが常駐）
安全装備・設備の徹底（ライフジャケットの着用徹底、AEDや救命器具の常備など）
緊急時のサポート体制（万が一の事態に備えた迅速な連絡・救助体制の確立）

7/6に初めてサガリバナウォークに参加しました。4人以上で催行が決定するとのことで、前日まで本当に開催されるか少し心配でしたが、当日は無事に実施されました。ホテルまでお迎えに来ていただき、サガリバナポイント近くの駐車場まで車で15分程度。道中は西表島のことをいろいろ教えていただき、あっという間にポイントに到着しました。そこで靴を履き替え、少し歩きます。緩やかな坂道や、石がゴロゴロしている場所がありましたが、危ないと感じるところはありませんでした。歩く際の注意点も、イケメンのガイドのお兄さんが丁寧に教えてくださいました。サガリバナは白やピンクの可愛らしい花がたくさん落ちていて、とても綺麗でした。写真もたくさん撮っていただき、美しい貴重な経験をさせていただきました。カヌーに自信のない方には、特におすすめしたいツアーです。ガイドさんの丁寧な案内のおかげで、安心して楽しむことができました。本当にありがとうございました。またぜひ参加したいと思います。

I was able to fully enjoy the sagaribana that grows wild on Iriomote Island, which I had longed to see! To enjoy the sweet fragrance of sagaribana, we recommend the walk rather than the cruise. You can walk on the wooden path maintained along the mangrove waterside with marine shoes included in the tour fee.　The sounds of sagaribana falling, bees swarming around flowers, wild birds singing, and fish jumping on the surface of the river...we were very much entertained by the knowledgeable and service-oriented guide, Hayata. We also appreciated the transportation to and from the Hoshino Resort. On our way home, we found a coconut crab that had been involved in a traffic accident, and he even stopped the car to explain about it! Thank you very much, hayata-san!

The other day, I participated in the "Early Morning Sagaribana Appreciation Walk" in Iriomote Island. In the morning mist, we strolled through the mangrove swamp with a guide and enjoyed the beautiful blooming sagaribana. The moment the petals fell into the river amidst the sweet fragrance of the flowers was very magical. The guide was very knowledgeable and the entire tour was very fulfilling. It was a wonderful experience for the whole family, and I highly recommend participating when visiting Iriomote Island.

I joined the tour on the recommendation of the hotel staff. Seeing the scattered sagaribana on the ground and the sagaribana that were still in bloom, I realized that they really do fall off in one night.
