Caving expedition in limestone caves
Participants wear helmets, headlights, and other safety gear and enjoy "caving.
Going through a series of large, medium, and small limestone caves is sure to be a very different and exciting experience! Let's have a superb and extraordinary experience of Iriomote Island!
Omija River
After lunch, we changed locations and continued canyoning on the Omija River.
The Omija River is a sandstone stream with very interesting undulations. Children and adults alike can enjoy jumping into the deep pools and playing on the natural slides.
You can wear a life jacket so you can float around and relax.
Guides are available to assist you.
All guides are certified water rescuers. We give lectures slowly and carefully, and welcome everyone from small children to those who are not good swimmers!

There is a possibility that we will take you to the sea instead of the mangroves.*Meeting and dismissal times may vary depending on the season and field conditions on the day of the tour. The store will contact you the day before the tour to inform you of the meeting place and time.
*Tours will be held rain or shine. However, the tour may be cancelled if it is determined that the field is unsafe.

Q. What is the difference between the two?To what extent can you provide pick-up and drop-off services?
We will pick you up and drop you off in the Uehara area. If you are coming from other areas, please rent a car or take a local bus to "Uehara Port".
*Hoshino Resort is within the pick-up and drop-off area.
Q. What is the difference between the two? What is the meeting place and time?It depends on the tour you are joining and where you are staying. The store will call you the day before the tour to inform you of the meeting time and place. Please note that we will not be able to give you a confirmed meeting place and time until the day before the tour.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Can I ride in the pick-up car while wet?Yes, we do. The inside of the shuttle is designed to accommodate wet passengers.
Q. What is the difference between the two? Is there a changing room or place to shower on site?Due to the wilderness nature of the field, there are no changing rooms or showers on site. Please change into clothes that you do not mind getting wet before the tour. After the tour, we will provide facilities for you to take a shower. Please bring your own towels.
