Tour Guide Introduction
Satoru Yahata

I am interested in "how people live with the sea," and have been traveling by human-powered voyage using sea kayaks since 2002.

He has also made the world's first voyages across the Bashi Strait from the Philippines to Taiwan and from Hachijojima to Kamakura, and has seen many oceans, many fishing villages, and people living with the sea.

We will do our best to help you all have an experience as exciting as the ocean world we have seen over the past 20 years. We look forward to your participation!

Depending on the date, a guide other than Yahata may guide you.

◆Please board the ship for Ishigakijima 8:30am - Ohara Port, Iriomotejima and come to the port.

After the tour, you can return to Ishigaki Island at 17:30 departing from Ohara Port.
