沖縄県公安委員会（沖縄県警）が定める厳しい安全基準をクリアし、公的に「安心・安全のお墨付き」を受けたマリンレジャー事業者のことです（正式名称：安全対策優良海域レジャー提供業者）。

実は、沖縄県内に多数存在するマリン事業者のうち、「マル優」認定を取得できているのはわずか約3％（100社中3社ほど）です。

「マル優」認定を受けるには、現地の警察による厳格な審査・現場確認を通過する必要があり、以下のような高い安全管理体制が義務付けられています。

有資格者の配置（資格を持つガイドや水難救助員などの専門スタッフが常駐）
安全装備・設備の徹底（ライフジャケットの着用徹底、AEDや救命器具の常備など）
緊急時のサポート体制（万が一の事態に備えた迅速な連絡・救助体制の確立）

I went to Iriomote Island for the first time. I was surprised at first that Iriomote Island, which is much bigger than I imagined, is still an untouched jungle. Due to the convenience of the flight, I decided to experience only half a day. During the mangrove canoeing experience, we went around the island with a guide who explained everything in a fun and kind way. I was overwhelmed by the scenery, which I could never see in Tokyo. The waterfalls were also so powerful that I was so fascinated by Iriomote Island that it was a shame to leave after only half a day. I wanted to go mangrove canoeing in Iriomote Island, and even though I called them on short notice the day before, they were very courteous to me. The brother who was in charge of guiding us taught us a lot of Iriomote trivia, and most importantly, we were able to enjoy the activity to the fullest! Thank you very much! Moreover, after the tour, the guide took us to the inn where we would stay that day, which was very helpful! The feeling of SUPing into the majestic nature is unforgettable! The only sounds you will hear are the sounds of insects, birds, and your own paddle as you travel along the vast river.
