It is a very comfortable feeling to be swaying on the buffalo cart while listening to the Okinawan sea.

    Yubu Island is home to bougainvillea, palm trees, and other subtropical plants that are typical of Okinawa. There is also a butterfly garden where the pupa of Japan's largest butterfly, the giant sessile butterfly, is cultivated, and a shell museum where shells from the sea and the deep sea of Iriomote Island are exhibited.
