Modama Pond

The surrounding area on the way to Modama Pond is surrounded by subtropical jungle.

A short distance away is a mountain stream and pond, where you can see fish swimming in the clear water. There is also a modama swing nearby that can be enjoyed by children and the elderly.

On the way, you can see clear streams and play by the water as well as in the jungle.

In Modama Pond, which is shallow with a maximum depth of 150 cm, families can enjoy not only swimming while wearing life jackets but also catching fish and river shrimps with nets (free rental).

All guides are certified water rescuers. We give lectures slowly and carefully, and welcome everyone from small children to those who are not good swimmers!

沖縄県公安委員会（沖縄県警）が定める厳しい安全基準をクリアし、公的に「安心・安全のお墨付き」を受けたマリンレジャー事業者のことです（正式名称：安全対策優良海域レジャー提供業者）。

実は、沖縄県内に多数存在するマリン事業者のうち、「マル優」認定を取得できているのはわずか約3％（100社中3社ほど）です。

「マル優」認定を受けるには、現地の警察による厳格な審査・現場確認を通過する必要があり、以下のような高い安全管理体制が義務付けられています。

有資格者の配置（資格を持つガイドや水難救助員などの専門スタッフが常駐）
安全装備・設備の徹底（ライフジャケットの着用徹底、AEDや救命器具の常備など）
緊急時のサポート体制（万が一の事態に備えた迅速な連絡・救助体制の確立）

Due to the wilderness nature of the field, there are no changing rooms or showers on site. Please change into clothes that you do not mind getting wet before the tour. After the tour, we will provide facilities for you to take a shower. Please bring your own towels.
