3月後半に家族3人で参加しました。ガイドさん1人、参加者7人のグループでした。 出発前、3月から始まった入場制限の監視員のチェックがありました。立入申請手続きをしてもらっていたので問題ありませんでした。 当日は気温がまだそう高くないものの、お日様が温かく、素晴らしいお天気に恵まれました。カヌーははじめてで、体力的に大丈夫なのか心配しましたが、流れがほとんどなく、景色や家族の写真を撮りながら、余裕をもって楽しめました。ガイドの方が知識豊富で、たくさんの情報をくださいました。ピナイサーラの滝はすごい迫力で、滝の上の方をカンムリワシが飛んでいるのが見えました。別ツアーの若い方たちが滝つぼに飛び込んでいました。寒そうでしたが楽しそうでした。 滝つぼでガイドさんが、温かい飲み物を作ってくださいました。とてもおいしかったです。 今回の旅で一番の思い出になりました。

It was the best activity experience in Iriomote Island! It was our first trip to the remote islands in a long time and we were blessed with good weather. As a memory of Ishigaki Island, my family of three joined the half-day tour of canoeing & trekking and Pinaisara Falls. It was quite difficult to paddle the canoe, but the guide was very attentive and taught us how to do it. The guide also explained about subtropical creatures and plants, which I saw for the first time and learned a lot. The sense of accomplishment when we reached the waterfall was indescribable. My 9 year old daughter said it was her most memorable experience in Ishigaki Island and she wants to go back next year. The two adults also had a great time. We were a 62 year old couple. First of all, it was our first experience canoeing. The guide was very good at teaching us and we had no worries. In one place where the wind was strong, he attached a rope and pulled us. He was very reliable! I went there after signing up for the morning canoeing and trekking tour to the waterfall basin. It had rained and the water was rising, I was overwhelmed by the power that far exceeded my imagination! The waterfall basin was filled with stormy winds and roaring sounds reminiscent of a typhoon, I felt a little scared. I was disappointed that it was raining on the day of the tour, But after experiencing the power of the swollen Pinaisara Falls I felt it was a good thing that it was raining! Pinaisara Canoeing was a lot of fun. I was a little worried because it had rained heavily the day before, but the day of the tour was sunny and we were able to canoe comfortably. There was no wind in the mangrove and it was very cool in the shade. After canoeing, we walked along a steep path to the waterfall. This is S&S with two participants on the morning of 7/6. Our guide was Ms. Yukorin. We had been dating for 2.5 years and this was our first trip together. We were in a corona and couldn't move as much as we wanted. I couldn't move around as much as I wanted, and I was surrounded by invisible walls. We applied for this tour through an introduction from the inn. Since it was off-season on a weekday, the river and waterfall were completely deserted, so we had plenty of time to enjoy the tour.
