Q. What should I wear?

We recommend a rash guard on top and leggings and shorts on the bottom in quick-drying material. Please refrain from wearing jeans, as they become difficult to move in when wet.

We recommend that visitors play in the waterfall basin and wear swimsuits under their clothes as they may get wet under unexpected circumstances.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Do you offer canoeing even if it rains?

Pregnant women are not permitted on the trek as there are slippery areas during the trek.

Pinaisara Falls is a 30-minute kayak ride away, and you can have your picture taken with the 55-meter waterfall in the background! At our time, it was just low tide, so we were able to see the mangrove roots and the powerful waterfalls due to the rain from the previous two days! It was a lot of fun, but the best part was our guide, Mr. M! He was only in his second year, but he was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained with interesting stories throughout the trek, making it a great day! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Since I participated in another activity in the morning, I decided to take the afternoon course, which turned out to be a great decision. Since there were not many other visitors, I was able to have the magnificent view of Pinaisara Falls almost to myself. We were able to spend a luxurious time while enjoying coffee and snacks that were brewed there. Unlike the ocean, kayaking was not affected by waves or wind, and we were able to paddle with plenty of time to spare while enjoying the view of the mangrove forest. Since there was only one participant, the guide matched my pace and I was able to observe the nature of Iriomote Island to the fullest, and he took a lot of pictures along the way. It was an afternoon course. It was my first time traveling alone, and I was anxious, but I received a detailed and easy-to-understand lecture and enjoyed myself very much from start to finish, even though I was a beginner. Since it was winter in February, I was the only participant and the guide was one-on-one, so I felt as if I had the whole nature to myself. When we reached the shore by canoe, we walked along the mountain path to the waterfall, stopping at various places to take pictures and explain about trees and fallen things. We were sweaty even though it was February, but as soon as we arrived at the falls, it was cool enough for the sweat to subside. Tea and sweets with a view of the wonderful waterfall is so happy and special! Freshly made brown sugar heals your body. It seems that every season has its own face, so I would like to visit again in a different season. I really wanted to visit Iriomote Island every year from this year.
