    Q. What should I wear on the day of the event?

We recommend a rash guard on top and leggings and shorts on the bottom in quick-drying material. Please refrain from wearing jeans, as they become difficult to move in when wet.

Our guide, Yuko-san, was very helpful and made us feel like we were in the middle of the action! At Pinaisara Falls, we all had onigiri (rice balls) or bento box lunches, but only the Tidakankan team made real soki soba (buckwheat noodles)! It was cold that day, but it was so special! I will definitely book with Tidakankan again next time. I am still reverberating so much that I wonder if it was a dream after I left!

The first thing we did was kayaking. There was no current and it was relaxing. After that, trekking was harder than expected, but Pinaisara Falls was very powerful and great. The Yaeyama soba (buckwheat noodles) with meat for lunch was delicious. The last stop was Yubu Island. We took a buffalo cart across the island, and it was interesting to see many butterflies and flowers. Thank you, Yukorin, for your enjoyable guiding!

I participated in the tour as a single male. The man who was our guide was very easy to talk to and taught us a lot about the island and its plants. He also took a lot of great pictures, so I was very satisfied! It was my first time to kayak, but it was not too difficult and did not seem to require much strength. There was a female participant who was alone, but she didn't seem to have any problem. If you have trouble operating the kayak, you will be carefully instructed. After getting off the kayak, we walked to Pinaisara Falls, but the distance was not that long. The path is slippery in many places, so you need to walk with caution. On the day we participated in the tour, it was after a rainfall, and the water volume at Pinaisara Falls was very large and powerful! It was fun to jump into the waterfall basin with all the participants. I wore a swimsuit and rash guard made of a material that dries easily, and they were almost completely dry while we were touring around Yubu Island in the afternoon. (I did bring a change of clothes, just in case.) I was just as happy to wear sandals to the waterfall as I was to wear a waterproof bag and beach shoes, which you can rent while you go to the waterfall. The schedule gave us plenty of time for the evening boat ride, and we were able to take our time visiting the stores around Uehara Harbor. It was a very satisfying tour with an exciting experience and pleasant guidance!

Under the guidance of Yuko, who was in charge of the kayak, even we beginners quickly learned the tricks of the kayak. We enjoyed trekking up the fairly steep mountain path to the waterfall basin with detailed explanations of the forest ecology. After trekking in the heat, the water from the waterfall basin was most soothing. On top of that, Yuko made Yaeyama soba noodles topped with meat prepared by the owner, and they were the most delicious. It was mind-boggling to think that she had carried those ingredients and water on her back for the trek. At Yubu Island, we were hit by rain, but it soon stopped and we were able to enjoy a leisurely stroll. The first half of the tour was active, the second half was relaxing and harmonious, and we were able to enjoy nature. Thank you very much. !!!!!

I participated with my older child. I was a beginner in canoeing, but with careful lectures, my child enjoyed it at the end. I would recommend avoiding trekking to Pinaisara Falls for kindergartners who are not confident about their physical strength. The journey may be tough for small children (with the support of the guide). (With the support of the guide, my child had no major problems.) The Pinaisara Falls were spectacular, and swimming in the waterfall pool was a memory that will last a lifetime. Also, the soba noodles for lunch prepared by the guide were excellent!

We participated in the tour as a couple in their 50s. It was our first time to experience kayaking in Iriomote Island, and we were a little anxious, but we were able to enjoy the tour with peace of mind because of the very courteous service from the reservation to the pick-up and drop-off, and the guidance. From the pick-up and drop-off stage, we were guided around the island, and by the time we arrived at the starting point, we encountered a "crested serpent eagle". We were very excited to learn about the bird's characteristics. During the tour, we were photographed at each of the scenic spots and received free data. We were able to take pictures of the Pinaisara Falls while kayaking from angles that we could not get with selfies, so it was a great souvenir. We also had Tida Kankan's "Mar-San's special Yaeyama soba (buckwheat noodles)" as part of the course that included lunch, and as other participants have written, the taste was "unexpectedly delicious. I thought the Yubu Island sightseeing tour would be just a buffalo cart ride. I thought it would be just a ride on a buffalo cart, but it was also fun to meet with cows full of individuality! It was a very enjoyable tour that showed how much you want people to "enjoy" Iriomote Island. Thank you very much for this tour!

The guide was very kind and helped us to go at our own pace. The Yaeyama soba noodles we had by the waterfall was the best lunch.

The rain that had fallen the day before seemed to have increased the volume of water in Pinaisara Falls, making it a very powerful sight! The Yaeyama soba noodles we had under the waterfall were very delicious. Especially the Soki was excellent. During the canoeing and trekking, the guide explained a lot and we enjoyed it. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel, so it was a great decision to choose this tour.

Thank you very much for your guide, Yuko-san! Did you recover from your cold? I was very impressed to see you wearing a mask while preparing lunch from a distance. The explanations during the tour were very clear and easy to understand. And she was very attentive as only a woman can be. I was able to enjoy the great nature of Iriomote Island to the fullest, and it became my best memory.

The only tours that covered the places I wanted to go were Tidakankan-san and Nompura-san, and Nompura-san would not hold the tour because it was for a minimum of two people and I was the only participant traveling alone that day, I found this tour by Tidakankan in such a troubled situation. We went kayaking and trekking, saw the highest waterfall in Iriomote Island, Pinaisara Falls, and jumped over the waterfall, The guide prepared warm drinks and chinsuko (a kind of Japanese pickled radish) for us, For lunch, they made delicious special Yaeyama soba noodles with meat, and we ate them at a place with a good view, He also took us to Yubu Island, which is difficult to reach by yourself (because there are not many buses), and we were able to take a buffalo cart to explore the island slowly. Of course, on the way back, we were taken back to the inn. The guide, Mr. Kosuke, told us interesting stories about Iriomote, and it was a very good decision to join the tour! The participants were all nice people and we enjoyed the tour from beginning to end. P.S....put sunscreen on the back of your hands too! Highly, highly recommended! Next time I would like to join another waterfall tour! Thank you very much!

My family of five was taken care of by Yuko, a guide from Tidakankan, in late March. Although the weather was unfortunate that the flight from Uehara Port was cancelled, we managed to avoid the forecasted rain, and we were very satisfied with the experience that exceeded our imagination. After arriving at Iriomote Island, we were happy that the tour timetable was changed in view of the weather, and we were taken to the Iriomote wild cat slide that my children had seen on TV's Itte Q. We listened to stories and songs of the buffalo of Yubu Island, touched the island's flora and fauna, and enjoyed seeing and learning about the mangroves and natural flora and fauna in the canoeing I was looking forward to. As a parent, it was very valuable for me to be able to catch a glimpse of my children's growth and physical abilities while canoeing and at Pinaisara Falls. Yuko-san was very frank and good at grasping the personality and the children's hearts, so the children seemed to have enjoyed themselves considerably and said they wanted to go back to Iriomote Island again. I would like to visit again sometime on a warm sunny day. Thank you very much for many photos and videos, Yukorin!

This was my first trip to Iriomote Island. 2 of us joined the tour, both of us were beginners in canoeing and trekking. We put on our swimsuits and clothes we didn't mind getting wet, and departed from Ishigakijima Port. Upon arrival, the staff was waiting for us. We packed our gear in waterproof bags and set off in the canoe. Our guide, Maa-san, was wonderful and took pictures during the tour, introduced us to the creatures and showed us around a lot, and we had a great time. When we saw the Pinaisara Falls, it was breathtaking and moving. I was able to experience a lot of things and know a lot of things, and it was a really good experience. The water was rising due to the continuous rain, and although I was soaking wet, I was able to experience the powerful Pinaisara Falls, which I had longed to see. I was not sure if I wanted to try taking pictures on the rocks, but thanks to the guide, I was able to do so. Unfortunately, we were not able to have lunch at the waterfall basin, but the soba noodles we had at the observation deck while looking at the ocean were very delicious, just as they say. Next time, I would like to go to the top of the falls.

It was difficult to join the tour from Ishigaki Island so early in the morning, but thanks to the characters of the six members of the tour, it was absurdly interesting even though we had never met each other before. The guide, Yukorin from Kyoto, was so funny, but she was also very knowledgeable about safety and flora and fauna. The extraordinary nature of kayaking through the mangroves, the sight of the stunning waterfalls after a tiring trek, the waterfall work, the diving, etc. were all too much fun! After too much fun with the waterfalls and diving, the warm homemade soba noodles were great. Yukorin was taking pictures with her camera at any time and sent us the data later, which I thought was a good service. The great nature we spent time in with our masks off reminded us of things we had forgotten over the past few years. Yubu Island is a standard content, so the buffalo was everything. Thank you, Yukorin!

We had a very enjoyable day. Lunch at the waterfall basin was "Yaeyama soba" as other reviewers said. Compared to the sandwiches and other food that the other tour group had, the salty warm soba was very good after a long day of sweating.
