9:10 Arrive at Uehara Port
We will arrive about 40 minutes after departing Ishigaki Island. Upon arrival at Uehara Port, we will head to Tudumari Beach with the rental car we pre-booked.
9:20 Swimming at Tudumari beach
Tudumari beach is about a 5-minute drive from Uehara Port and is on the way to Urauchi River, which we will visit later.
Compared to other beaches, the fineness of the sand on this beach is overwhelmingly fine and powdery. It is also called Tsuki ga hama (moon beach) because of the crescent shape of the beach.
Near this beach is Nirakanai, one of the best resort hotels in Iriomote Island, which is especially crowded with tourists during the summer season.
