Coola Falls

クーラの滝の『クーラ』という名前には「幸運を呼び込む」という意味があると言われており、西表の現地の人もお参りにくるような滝です。

クーラの滝へ向かうマングローブ川は細い為、時折両側のマングローブの木々が交差してアーチ状になっていたり、ツタがマングローブ川をまたいでブランコの様になっていたりとまさに"アスレチックジャングル"です。

まるで異世界体験が待っている！

クーラの滝はそんなに大きくはないですが、他の滝やジャングルと比べても西表島の大自然がそのまま残っているため、"秘境のジャングル"（マングローブ林）に来たことを感じられるかと思います。

川には『トビハゼ』や『電気ウナギ』などの動物や、『ニッパヤシ』、『モダマの木』などの植物といった、亜熱帯地域ならではの生き物を見ることができます。

星砂の浜シュノーケリング

星砂の浜は「天然の水族館」と呼ばれるほど、たくさんの魚たちが住んでいます。たくさんの魚に囲まれて泳げば一生の思い出になること間違いなしです。

星砂の浜は星の形をした小さな砂があちこちにあることから、その名がつきました。シュノーケルで少し疲れたら、ビーチで星砂や綺麗な貝殻を探してみるのもいいですね！
