Modama Pond Hiking & SnorkelingThe short hikes are suitable for all levels of hikers, from young children to the elderly, even those who have never hiked before.
There are only a few trails to walk, and the jungle is not tiring, but it is a real jungle, so you will definitely be able to fully enjoy it!
Modama Pond
Modama Pond" is located about 10 minutes by car from Uehara Port in Iriomote Island. The maximum depth of the water is 150cm, so families with small children and the elderly can enjoy this spot!
On the way to the pond, you will be surrounded by subtropical jungle and feel close to nature. Once at the pond, children will be delighted to see river shrimps and fish swimming in the clear, clear water.
Hoshisuna Beach (Star Sand Beach)
In the afternoon, snorkel at Iriomote's No. 1 popular beach where you can see colorful coral reefs and over hundreds of never-before-seen primary-colored fish!
This is one of the most popular beaches in Iriomote Island, filled with star sands. Because of shallow water, even small children can feel safe.
Guides are available to assist you.
All guides are certified water rescuers. We give lectures slowly and carefully, and welcome everyone from small children to those who are not good swimmers!

*Free pick-up and drop-off are available at hotels in the Uehara area.We will pick you up at the hotel entrance.Wear clothes that can get wet in advance.Please change your clothes and wait.
