This is a sunset snorkeling plan at Hoshi-suna Beach, famous for its star-shaped "star sand.
Enjoy and savor the color of the sky as it gradually changes to Akane (red) at Hoshisuna Beach, which even small children can enjoy!
Star Sand Beach
Hoshisuna Beach is famous for more than 100 kinds of tropical fishes in Iriomote Island despite its shallow water.
It is nice to enjoy snorkeling while watching fish that look different from during the day.
It is recommended, especially on hot days, as you can heal your body while bathing in the sea.
It is also a great place to relax after a daytime jungle tour while floating in the water.
Guides are available to assist you.
All guides are certified water rescuers. We give lectures slowly and carefully, and welcome everyone from small children to those who are not good swimmers!

Snorkeling on Star Sand Beach at sunset was truly an experience of a lifetime. Swimming with tropical fish as the ocean slowly turned red was unrealistically beautiful and peaceful. The pictures taken by the guide were amazing and I wanted to show them off to my family and friends. Watching the ocean at sunset is truly a special experience.
