Yubu Island" Sightseeing & Canyoning Tour by Buffalo CarThis plan includes canyoning (river rafting) and sightseeing on Yubu Island. In canyoning, you will go down the river with only your body. Safety measures are taken by wearing life jackets and helmets!
For sightseeing on Yubu Island, we will take a buffalo cart to Yubu Island. You will have about 1 hour of free time, so please enjoy it at your own pace.
Splash Canyoning
Canyoning is a so-called "river rafting" in which you use your whole body to go down the river along the current.
After putting on life jackets, helmets, and other safety gear, it is time to go rafting down the river! Diving into the waterfall is a great feeling itself. Let's enjoy the river fun in the great nature of Iriomote Island!
Yubu Island Sightseeing
Yubu Island is reached by a 15-minute buffalo car ride over the sea from Iriomote Island.
You can relax and enjoy the quiet island time on the buffalo cart and be soothed by the cute buffaloes pulling the cart.
Guides are available to assist you.
All guides are certified water rescuers. We give lectures slowly and carefully, and welcome everyone from small children to those who are not good swimmers!

Ｑ．沖縄県警公認のマル優（安全対策優良）認定業者とは？
沖縄県公安委員会（沖縄県警）が定める厳しい安全基準をクリアし、公的に「安心・安全のお墨付き」を受けたマリンレジャー事業者のことです（正式名称：安全対策優良海域レジャー提供業者）。
実は、沖縄県内に多数存在するマリン事業者のうち、「マル優」認定を取得できているのはわずか約3％（100社中3社ほど）です。
「マル優」認定を受けるには、現地の警察による厳格な審査・現場確認を通過する必要があり、以下のような高い安全管理体制が義務付けられています。

有資格者の配置（資格を持つガイドや水難救助員などの専門スタッフが常駐）

安全装備・設備の徹底（ライフジャケットの着用徹底、AEDや救命器具の常備など）

緊急時のサポート体制（万が一の事態に備えた迅速な連絡・救助体制の確立）
