Take you to the Myra River where you can enjoy pristine natureThis tour is highly recommended for those who want to enjoy "leisurely canoe touring with few people!
Since canoeing and trekking are done on the Myra River, which has little current, even those who are not confident about their physical strength, such as children and elderly guests, can participate in this tour.
The waterfall you are aiming for has a drop of about 4 to 5 meters, and you can enjoy diving and playing in the basin as much as you like!

There are no differences in elevation, and children as young as 4 years old can easily participate.
If there is time, we will observe tidal flats and observe rare creatures unique to Iriomote Island before returning home.

Q. What should I wear on the day of the event?
We recommend a rash guard on top and leggings and shorts on the bottom in quick-drying material. Please refrain from wearing jeans, as they become difficult to move in when wet.
We recommend that visitors play in the waterfall basin and wear swimsuits under their clothes as they may get wet under unexpected circumstances.
Q. What is the difference between the two?Can you provide transportation?We will pick you up anywhere around Uehara Port in the western part of Iriomote Island. If you are in the eastern area or around Ohara Port, please come to Uehara Port by rental car.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Is there a restroom available during the tour?There are no public toilets in the forests of ◗Omote Island. You will have to use the shade of a tree.
If you have a weak stomach or need to go to the toilet, please bring tissues and a plastic bag. We ask that you take the used tissues home in a plastic bag.
Q. What is the difference between the two?Will the tour be cancelled if it rains?It will be held rain or shine. Iriomote in misty rain is also quite nice.
If the river is expected to rise considerably due to heavy rainfall on consecutive days, the guide may make a decision on the day of the tour and inform the group to cancel the tour.
Q. What is the difference between the two?What is your payment method?Payment on the day of the tour (on-site payment) is cash only. Credit card payment is available for advance online payment.
There is only a post office in Iriomote Island. We will not be able to pick you up at the post office before or after the tour, so please make arrangements in Ishigaki Island beforehand.
Q. What will be done if I get drunk?There is almost no seasickness in the canoe. Since you cannot proceed on foot, you may or may not get off the canoe and take a break. - word of mouth

Since my daughter was only 5 years old and my parents were over 60 years old, I was worried that it would be okay, but after talking to the person in charge over the phone, she suggested this tour. I was glad that we actually joined the tour! My parents were able to paddle the canoe without getting too tired, and it was great to see my daughter enjoying taking a dip in the Myra Falls. I would like to go to Pinai Falls next when my daughter is a little older! Thank you very much!

It took us just under an hour of slow canoeing and 20-30 minutes of trekking, so it was just the right amount of exercise for us. The guide made Yaeyama soba noodles for lunch, which was delicious.
