Mangrove cruise on the Nakama RiverThe river is over 200 meters wide near its mouth, and the view of the magnificent river and mangroves from the Nakama Bridge is exceptional.
Mangrove forests cover approximately 300 hectares on both banks of the river, the largest in Japan, and are designated as a national natural monument.

Riding on a buffalo cart to Yubu Island
There is no direct access to Yubu Island from Ishigaki Island, but you can cross from Iriomote Island on foot or by buffalo car.
Yubu Island is one of the remote islands belonging to the Yaeyama Archipelago and is small, with a circumference of 2.15 km and a population of about a dozen people.

One thing you absolutely cannot miss when visiting this place is the chrysalis of Japan's largest butterfly, the Oogomadara, in the Butterfly Garden.

You can also disperse at Ohara Port and the buffalo cart terminal. The return ferry ticket is an open ticket with no specified date and time, so it can be used on any day other than the day of the tour.
