How to book a ferry ticket and get on board

This plan includes the activity and ferry ticket, but you need to select and register for the ferry time.

Afternoon tour:Outbound 11:00 / Return 16:50

In rare cases, depending on the completion time of the activity, you may not be able to catch the return flight (16:50 p.m.) that you have reserved. In this case, you will be transferred to the next flight (departing at 5:30 p.m.), but there is no need to change your reservation.

The ferry terminal in Ishigaki Port Remote Island TerminalPier No. 3 or 4is the ferry arrival point for Yaeyama Kanko Ferry to Uehara Port in Iriomote Island.
On the day of the tour, please wait at pier No. 3 or No. 4 after seeing the sign on the information board.

Q. How long does it take from the airport to Ishigaki Port Terminal?

As a rough guide, it takes about 30 minutes by rental car or cab, and about 30-40 minutes by local bus.

Q. Are there toilets on the ship?

All of our boats are equipped with a boat service, but please make sure to do this before boarding if possible, as it can be a bumpy ride.

Q. Can I enjoy it for the first time?

Of course you can have fun. More than 95% of our guests are beginners.

Q. What should I wear?

Clothing will get wet on most tours. Although there are no specific regulations, we recommend that you wear clothing that can get wet (swimsuits, rash guards, sportswear, etc.).

Q. Is there a place to leave my luggage?

We can keep them in our office.

Q. Do you have any photos from the tour?

During the tour, the guide will take your pictures with a waterproof camera and give you the data for free. There is no need to bring your own precious camera to the water!

Q. What if the flight to Uehara Port in Iriomote Island is cancelled?

No change of reservation detailsPlease come to the Yaeyama Kanko Ferry Counter in Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal at You will receive a free round-trip bus ticket for temporary transportation from Ohara Port⇄Uehara Port.

The return trip is the reverse procedure: take a bus from Uehara Port to Ohara Port, and take a ferry from Ohara Port back to Ishigaki Island.

*If Ishigakijima-Iriomotejima Ohara Port is also cancelled, there will be no means to go to Iriomotejima, so the cancellation will be free of charge.

石垣港に8:00頃に来て、桟橋からフェリーで西表島へ。西表島に着いたら笑顔のガイドさんがお出迎え。カヌー体験に家族3人で参加させてもらいました。出発から見送りまで始終ガイドさんの対応が明るく丁寧でした。ツアーの参加人数も6名とわたしたちの他にもいましたが、全体を見つつそれぞれに話しかけてくれたり、写真も沢山撮ってくれたりと気遣って下さいました😊また、マングローブやイリオモテヤマネコ、その他植物や生物の説明も分かりやすくとても勉強になりました。カヌーとトレッキング後に辿り着いたクーラの滝も神秘的で心が浄化されました😌✨ 初めて来た父も母も大満足したようで、西表島が大好きになりました！ありがとうまこっちゃん！また絶対に来ます🐒🌿！！！

I had canoeing experience, but I had never experienced standing sup on a surfboard and was very anxious. But when I tried it, I was able to stand up easily, and my anxiety soon turned into fun! It was the most fun marine sport I have ever experienced! Now I want to try it in the ocean!

My family of four experienced SUP in the mangroves. My 10 year old daughter was a bit confused at first, but the guide kindly and carefully taught her how to operate the SUP and she was very happy to be able to operate it easily. It was really great to experience SUP while enjoying the scenery that you can't find in Japan. The distance was just right, and I thought it could be enjoyed by people of all ages, from small children. The guide took pictures of our family at various places and we had many memorable photos. Thank you very much. I would definitely go back again!
