I was quite worried that the canoeing alone would be too much for my 3 year old son, but after a few days of anticipation, we managed to get him on it! The guide was very friendly and always looked out for our children. We felt very close to nature as we canoed through the mangroves, crouching just under overgrown branches and looking for crabs in the branches of trees. On the way back, the guide invited my oldest son to join us on the SUP board, and we were happy to see him enjoying himself on the SUP board as we made our way home. The limestone caves were even more of a challenge than the Coola Falls. My second son, who is especially scared, had difficulty walking on his own, and I had to carry him most of the way through the steep ups and downs of the monster trail and the puddles of water in the caves. At the end of the tour, we were relieved that we were able to finish the tour without any injuries. My sons, who love bugs and all living things, enjoyed the tour as much as they could and were very satisfied 😄. We were able to complete the tour safely thanks to the guidance of our reliable guide, who was able to keep up with our family's pace throughout the tour. I am glad we took the plunge and joined the tour, as I could feel my sons' growth!
