The Yaeyama firefly viewing in Iriomote Island, which I participated in during a special spring sale, was truly an experience that will remain in my memory forever! The carpet of light we saw in the jungle at night in Iriomotejima was overwhelmingly beautiful, and we were able to experience firsthand the wonders of nature. The guide was very supportive, so we could walk in the forest at night without any worries, and the children were very excited. This tour, where you can enjoy nature at night surrounded by the light of fireflies shining silently, is a must-do experience when you come to Iriomote Island. It was really a wonderful tour and I would like to join it again!

I participated in the Yaeyama Firefly Viewing Tour on Iriomote Island, which was truly a magical nighttime experience! This tour, available only from February to May, is a rare chance to see Japan's smallest fireflies, which glow fantastically in the subtropical jungle after the sun goes down. With careful explanations by our guide, we were able to learn about the ecology of fireflies. The countless fireflies that brightly illuminated the surroundings were like a natural illumination, and were so beautiful that words cannot describe it. This tour is an activity that I would definitely recommend when visiting Iriomote Island!

I joined the event expecting to see a few fireflies, but what I actually saw were too many to count. I had never seen such a spectacle before. I was glad that the guide explained in detail about fireflies and their ecology, which are only found in Yaeyama. The tour also included pickup and drop-off service, so I could participate without worries. Thank you very much.

I was skeptical that there were really fireflies in the dark until I got to the firefly spot, but when I arrived at the spot, I was shocked by the countless lights that appeared and seemed unreal. I will definitely visit again next year.

I went to see Yaeyama fireflies for the first time. It was raining, so I decided to cancel the night tour and stay at the hotel, but the guide told me that the rain would give a more jungle-like atmosphere and was recommended, so I went to see the fireflies. I wasn't expecting that much, but I was surprised to see more than I expected. I was impressed to see fireflies here and there in the jungle, just like Kodama in Princess Mononoke! If you go to Iriomote Island, you must see them!

I joined the No. 15 tour. The guide took us to the Star Sand Beach on the way to the tour, and we were so impressed that we could see the sunset. The road to see the fireflies was so dark that I felt like I was really in the jungle, but thanks to that, I was able to see fireflies so beautifully. I think it was the first time I saw so many fireflies at once. It was so fantastic that I really felt out of touch with reality.

I went to see the Yaeyama fireflies with my family at the recommendation of the hotel staff. We were told that the fireflies only glow for 30 to 40 minutes after sunset, so we drove to a firefly spot about 20 minutes up the mountain and waited for it to start glowing. By the time the mountain gradually began to glow and it was dark, there were over 100 fireflies glowing. I think they were the most beautiful fireflies I have ever seen. The fireflies looked like stars in the sky, and I was more excited than I expected to be. On the way home, the guide said that people come here every year to see the fireflies, and I can see why. I think I will be a repeat visitor too.
