沖縄県公安委員会（沖縄県警）が定める厳しい安全基準をクリアし、公的に「安心・安全のお墨付き」を受けたマリンレジャー事業者のことです（正式名称：安全対策優良海域レジャー提供業者）。

実は、沖縄県内に多数存在するマリン事業者のうち、「マル優」認定を取得できているのはわずか約3％（100社中3社ほど）です。

「マル優」認定を受けるには、現地の警察による厳格な審査・現場確認を通過する必要があり、以下のような高い安全管理体制が義務付けられています。

有資格者の配置（資格を持つガイドや水難救助員などの専門スタッフが常駐）
安全装備・設備の徹底（ライフジャケットの着用徹底、AEDや救命器具の常備など）
緊急時のサポート体制（万が一の事態に備えた迅速な連絡・救助体制の確立）

I went snorkeling at Star Sand Beach with my college buddies! There were really star-shaped sands all over the place, just like in the pictures. After snorkeling, we were able to use hot shower, but most of the other tour companies in Iriomote said they use water shower. I was really happy to be able to use the hot shower. Snorkeling at Hoshisuna Beach! I'm not a good swimmer, so I only went where I could stand on my feet, but I could see a lot of fish in the shallows and it was very beautiful ^^. We booked the tour at the last minute (sorry!). The staff was very friendly and helpful even though it was during the busy GW season. Thank you very much!
