Ohara Port in Iriomote Island is a high-speed boat from Ishigaki Island.Approx. 40 min.It is the eastern gateway to Iriomote Island, located in the northern part of the island. Compared to Uehara Port, there are fewer tourist spots, and it is mainly used by local people.

There are about six ferries a day from Ishigaki Island to Ohara Port in Iriomote Island.Ferry boarding is required to go to Iriomote Island.So make reservations in advance!

Ohara route is less likely to be cancelled, while Iriomotejima-Uehara route is more likely to be cancelled.

If you want to go to Uehara Port in Iriomote Island when the ferry is cancelled, take a boat from Ishigaki Island to Ohara Port and take a bus from Ohara Port to Uehara Port. (Please purchase a ferry ticket for the Uehara route.)

It was a lot of fun with SUP, trekking, and even a limestone cave, but I felt it was a little too packed. It was a little scary in the cave because it was dark, but it was a good experience. If you are physically fit, I think you will enjoy it, but it was a little tough for me because of my lack of exercise (sweat).

仲間川カヤック。景色良し。マングローブの迫力あり。午後の数時間でサクッと体験できるのが便利。装備も一式貸してもらえるので手ぶらでOK。合理的で満足度の高いツアーだった。
