I was worried about joining the tour alone, but it was no problem at all. He is a wonderful instructor who respects the nature of Iriomote. His teaching style is also very attentive. The mangrove forest was just as I had imagined, and it was really wonderful and more impressive than I had expected. While we were having lunch, it started to rain like a guerrilla downpour, and the instructor, who was worried about us, came to pick us up. I was very touched by his thoughtfulness.

Although it was cold and windy due to the change of season, we had a very enjoyable kayak tour experience! The day we joined the tour was in the afternoon and it was close to low tide, so there were no sightseeing boats out, and luckily we were the only ones on the Nakama River. We were able to see not only the mangrove scenery but also a variety of creatures with explanations from the tour guide, including a large group of crabs called the southern red king crab, the endangered black-faced spoonbill, kingfishers, and more. The strong winds stopped at the mangrove area, and we were able to experience the mystery of nature. (There is a reason for this, so please listen to the tour guide's explanation!) ) I feel that I was able to learn more about the history and biology of Iriomote Island through the experience of this tour. Thank you very much, tour guide, for making us enjoyable memories!

I really enjoyed the great nature of Iriomote Island on this tour! It was a really special experience to go through the mangrove jungle by canoe, and I felt as if I was in a different world. The subsequent exploration of the limestone caves was also breathtaking, and it was very moving to feel the millions of years of history as we went through the caves. The guide was very kind and made us feel at ease. We were also given free photos, so we were able to keep them as wonderful memories. This tour gives you a full sense of the charm of Iriomote Island!

I participated in a tour that combined mangrove kayaking and trekking! The tranquil scenery of the Nakama River as we kayaked along was truly beautiful, and we were able to experience nature that we would not normally be able to see. It was also fun that the guide led us to look for living creatures on the mudflats. The trekking took us through the subtropical jungle and we were impressed by the spectacular riverside scenery. Lunch was delicious and we spent a fulfilling day. This is a great tour for families as it is safe and enjoyable even for beginners.

I joined this kayak tour because I wanted to enjoy the nature of Iriomote Island quietly. The experience of going through the mangrove forest in a quiet and relaxing place, not a sightseeing spot, was wonderful! The tunnel-like scenery of the Nakama River was a special kayaking experience. The guide was kind and explained the flora and fauna as we went along, which deepened my understanding of nature. Looking for southern flying foxes on the mudflats was also fun, and we enjoyed relaxing and having fun as a family.

Our guide, Ken, who knows Iriomote Island very well, moved here to enjoy surfing with his family. They are a very nice family. The mangrove was great this time and the limestone cave tour was also great 😀. I would like to visit Iriomote Island again and explore unexplored areas with Ken's guide.
