We are a 64-62 year old couple, and after we applied for this course, we trained ourselves by climbing many times in the mountains around our neighborhood. I was worried about whether we would be able to make it through the course, but it was more jungle than mountain climbing, and for my small frame, it felt more like athletic full-body exercise than mountain climbing, which was very exciting and thrilling. The guide warned us about dangerous places and was so fun to talk to that we forgot how tired we were and just kept on walking. The guide's mother-in-law's homemade lunch was delicious, and the scenery, including the Mayagusuku waterfall, was truly extraordinary and relaxing. The experience made me want to go back, minus the sore muscles from the next day. I look forward to the next time 🙏.
Snorkeling on Star Sand Beach at sunset was truly an experience of a lifetime. Swimming with tropical fish as the ocean slowly turned red was unrealistically beautiful and peaceful. The pictures taken by the guide were amazing and I wanted to show them off to my family and friends. Watching the ocean at sunset is truly a special experience.
I participated in the June 29 tour. It was very fun and a great experience. I had a great experience in the mangrove canoeing. I didn't expect to pull the canoe because of the high tide. The guide was very helpful in helping my husband when paddling and pulling the canoe. He carried lunch for all of us and was very attentive to details. He was a wonderful guide with interesting stories and knowledge of the creatures. Thanks to your help, we had good memories. Thank you very much.
We were unable to find a guide who would take us on a tour of Mayagusuku Falls at this time of year (mid-June), so we booked our tour here after a frantic search. The person who guided us on the day of the tour thoughtfully allocated time for breaks along the way so that my husband, who wanted to take his camera with him, could have time to take pictures, and we were able to take satisfactory pictures above and below the waterfalls. We have done a lot of trekking, but walking in the cold sauna was more difficult than we had imagined, but we were able to finish the tour without getting exhausted thanks to your precise advice on the timing and amount of hydration. It is a waterfall that you should see at least once.
I wanted to go to Mayagusuku Falls, which I saw on BS sometime ago, so I went alone. I was blessed with good weather and it was a great trip! To get to Mayagusuku Falls, you take a ferry from Ishigaki Island to Iriomote Island and walk for about 4 hours. It is a rare chance to spend so much time and money in your life, and there are sights, sounds, and difficulties that only those who have been there can feel! The guide provided detailed support for those entering the forest for the first time, including equipment, knowledge, and walking pace. I would definitely recommend going while you are physically fit. I thought I needed this experience in my life.
